I let the cat out of the bag a while back in one of my videos. A book on pipe smoking is in the works. Some chapters have been written, some publishing options have been explored, and I'm fairly certain the interest is there if the ongoing response to the book mention in that video is an indicator.
I can't say a whole lot about the book right now other than to tell you a few things:
- It will be about pipe smoking - a lot of how-to - helping newcomers will be the core substance of the content.
- It will not be about pipe collecting. No rambling about incredibly obscure creations that are out of average pipe smoker's financial reach. No endless pictures of me at pipe shows with my arm around international pipe carvers.
- The audience I have in mind are the same folks who seem to like this blog, the Tamp and Puff Forums, and my videos - those of you who just enjoy some very practical down-to-earth discussion about this great hobby of ours.
- I do cover a few topics that I believe will make the book a worthwhile read for even the most seasoned veteran.
Here is what I would like you to do:
Subscribe to the email notification list so you will be informed when there is any new news.
